    Excellent multi-band HF antenna!

Posted by Tim on 25th Jun 2022

This is my 2nd doublet from Trueladderline. My order was filled and shipped within 24 hours by Molly. I put the antenna up high earlier today after cutting the feed line to a proper length (don't forget to do that!). I have good resonance on most HF bands, and the remote tuner does its job nicely on all bands. An excellent investment for a multi-band HF antenna from just one antenna. Very happy ham :)

    Great all band antenna!

Posted by Unknown on 17th Nov 2021

I replaced my 450 ohm window line-fed dipole with the W7FG 125' antenna w/600 ohm feedline, fed through a 1:1 current balun and 50 ohm low-loss coax to my shack. It tunes easily on all bands 160-10m, best all-band antenna I have had in 57 years as a ham.

    Picked up 2 S-units

    Posted by K5KTD on 22nd May 2021

Top quality materials, built exceptionally well. I recently installed a ZS6BKW and picked up 2 s-units over my G5RV. Then I hung a W7FG 125 foot ladder line fed dipole and picked up 2 s-units over the BKW running barefoot through a Johnson KW Match Box.

    Has proven excellent

Posted by Daniel Aharon on 11th Feb 2021

I had operated with this 80-10 wire for several years, and enjoyed excellent performance despite only two-story elevation and proximity to high-voltage transfer wires. Then one pole snapped in a very high-wind Nor'Easter; entirely my fault for hard-fastening it too taught between mountpoints. Brian helped me get back on the air, and he also took the time to explain in an email chain much more about antennas and propagation than I knew. It's been a great experience both for my rig and for my brain.

Great Performing WTFG 80-10 125' Dipole

Posted by Unknown on 27th Jan 2021

Really pleased with the quality and the performance of my 10-80 dipole fed with your 100ft of 600 ohm ladderline. All reports on 10-80 meter bands are 2 S units better than my homemade Carolina Window at the same height off the ground and my receive has less noise than any wire antenna I have. Even during a heavy rain it is a very quiet antenna.Very pleased and would highly recommend this antenna to anyone looking for a real performing inverted V antenna.I have it at 60ft at the apex and Ihear everything here at my MountainTop QTH and not effected by the high winds I get here at all. Thanks for building a great quality antenna at a great price for how well it receives and transmit on every band,10-80 meters.Would buy your other antennas simply because they perform as advertised and should hold up to my extreme weather conditions I get here regularly year round.

    First Choice for HF EMCOMM

    Posted by K7SFA on 20th Dec 2020

I have several antenna designs for portable EMCOMM and QRP use. Unless I'm restricted by available space considerations, this antenna is by far my first choice to use. It's simple and quick to set up by one person and it is the most effective portable antenna I've found, especially when operating QRP portable.

Works great in spite of site limitations

Posted by Len KC3OND on 10th Nov 2020

I wanted to get on 80 meters without having enough space for an 80 meter wire. I have only 90 feet but Brian felt I would still be able to reach 80 meters by letting the two ends drop down 15 feet. He was correct! I followed his suggestions to use a Paradan Antenna Disconnect for Twin Lead going into two coaxial cable center connectors to bring the line into my shack and an MFJ-993b tuner. The antenna is a simple, but elegant and well engineered system. I couldn't be happier with both the products and Brian's support.

    Super Star Antenna!

Posted by Unknown on 20th Oct 2020

I put this antenna up and used a dxengineering 6:1 balun with it. It works great on all bands and I have been knocking down the required countries remaining for 80 meter for 5BDXCC! Thanks for a GREAT product! Ronnie W5SUM

    Excellent QRP Antenna

Posted by Rosario DiPeri on 26th Aug 2020

I bought the 80 - 10 meter version. No loading problems thanks to the 4:1 balun. Top quality construction, and design, give maximum power out for QRP operation where every watt counts! Great customer service. This is the best antenna I have ever used in my forty years as a ham. KA2Z
